Storm Coming

A fisherman sees storm clouds approaching. This symbolizes the warrior spirit alert to the forces of domination culture in all their many forms. The model for this painting was a Hawaiian man whose uncle was a famous healer, but he himself spent most of his life on drugs and in jail.  I looked beyond his loss into his proud lineage for redemption of his dignity and honor.
