The Elements

The volcano goddess Pele is having fun.  She plays with fire, air, water, and earth… the elements of life on Earth. The fire blazes but does not burn her. Billows of smoke and steam waft around her. She splashes droplets of ocean water reflecting the light of the fire. Her flower crown, the black lava rocks, and the new flowing, glowing lava all represent the fresh living earth, effortlessly and playfully created by Pele.
